ZEISS is keeping its position as the best optical company in the world for approximately 165 years since the establishment in 1846 Jena, Germany.
Based on the spirit of enterprise, “the combination of theory and practice”, ZEISS company has been insisting on dealing with only the optics to continue the tradition of Germany’s spirit of the artisan. Carl Zeiss group has been making a lavish investment and research for the innovative cutting-edge technology.

Currently in ZEISS, about 24,000 staff are working from 30 different countries, while having the company’s value and mission ‘we make it visible – the science and technology to make things visible that has never been seen before’ as a slogan for constantly challenging imagination with no boundaries.

Carl Zeiss Co., Ltd. was established in early January 1986 as a Joint Venture and converted to 100% German investment corporation on 1st July 2004.

Zeiss Korea is largely contributing to the development of domestic optical instrument industry and national health for about 30 years for supplying medical appliances, electron microscopes and precision three dimensional measurement, semiconductor industry in medical sector and high-technology fundamental scientific research sector.
